Committees
Our Committees
Each Chester School Council subcommittee is a smaller group within the School Council that focuses on a specific area, project, or priority. Subcommittees can meet on an ad hoc basis, either in person or virtually, or can coordinate work and plans through email or WhatsApp groups.

Advocacy
Supports the School Council in identifying and raising awareness of issues that are important to students, families, and the wider school community. Helps ensure that the voices and perspectives of the school community are heard in a constructive, respectful, and informed way.
Fun Fair
Plans and supports the school's annual Fun Fair, creating a fun, welcoming, and inclusive event that brings students, families, staff, and the wider school community together.
Gardening
Supports the School Council in developing, maintaining, and promoting the school garden and green spaces. Encourages student involvement, community participation, and hands-on learning while helping create a welcoming and sustainable school environment.
