The Fun Fair brings out the best of the Chester community. Past years have included:

Help Make It Happen
Fun Fair is entirely volunteer-run.
Every booth, every activity, every smile on a kid's face: it's because someone showed up to make it work. Planning starts with station leads, and each one only takes a small slice of the whole thing.
Pick a station below, or head straight to the sign-up sheet. No experience needed, and last year's leads are happy to share their notes.
Station Leads
Who we need
Each station has a lead (or two) who plans it ahead of time and runs it on the day.
The sign-up sheet shows what's still open.
Fun Fair Chairs
Coordinate station captains and make sure the day runs smoothly.
Volunteer Chairs
Recruit and organize volunteers for the day.
Fundraising & Sponsorship Leads
Secure sponsorships and donations from local businesses, realtors, dentists, banks and more, in cash or in kind.
BBQ Station Lead
Order all the food, drinks and supplies for the day, including BBQs and coolers.
Bake Sale Lead
Coordinate donation requests, keep the donation and ingredient lists, and set up on the day.
Book Sale Leads
Promote book donations, arrange collection and sorting, and set up on the day.
Raffle Basket Leads
Work with teachers and parents to put the raffle baskets together.
Silent Auction Leads
Organize donations and bundles, then run the bidding sheets and winning bids on the day.
Craft Station Leads
Plan and prepare two fun craft activities.
Face Painting Lead
Gather supplies and set up a colourful station.
Bouncy Castle Captain
Coordinate setup and safety with the rental company staff.
Ticket Captain
Prepare and distribute event tickets, including early bird packages, and set up the card reader.
Set-up Captain
Make sure setup runs smoothly on the morning of the fair.
Tear-down Captain
Make sure cleanup runs smoothly once the fair wraps up.
