Chester Elementary School’s annual Halloween Parade is on Friday, October 30 at 9:15am. The parade will be on the field (weather permitting), and families are welcome to come and watch.
Costumes
For families who choose to send their child to school in costume, please remember:
- Toy weapons are not permitted.
- Costumes should be appropriate for a Kindergarten to Grade 5 school setting.
Still need a costume?
There are still a number of great costumes in the room across the hall from the main office. The costume shop has been extended to the end of the school day on Tuesday, October 27, so come and take a look. Thank you to all the parents who donated costumes.
Food bank collection
The school is collecting non-perishable food and toiletry items for our local food bank. Students are asked to bring a non-perishable item as a “treat” for the food bank, and donations are welcome all week. Boxes are in the foyer by the main office.
